FAQ
Try the following:
- Check the cable for significant deformation or twisting.
- Pull the cable out slightly farther, then check whether it retracts properly. If it is already fully extended, gently pull it a little farther before checking.
- If the issue persists, contact us for help.
Note: Avoid forcing the cable all the way out, as this may damage the cable.
First, start the vehicle and make sure the ignition is on. Some vehicles automatically cut power to the cigarette lighter socket when the engine is off.
Then try the following:
1. Unplug and reconnect the car charger to ensure proper contact with the cigarette lighter socket.
2. Try charging another device with the car charger to check whether the charger is working properly.
3. Check the fuse. Turn off the vehicle and check the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket. If the metal strip inside is broken or burned, replace the fuse with one of the same type and rating.
The car charger provides up to 100W of total output power. Charging speed may decrease under the following conditions:
- Multiple ports are in use. The charger automatically distributes the total power based on the needs of the connected devices, which may reduce the power available to each device.
- Check the device’s maximum charging power. Your device may not support higher charging speeds.
- Check the temperature. Charging power is reduced when the device or charger gets too warm and returns to normal as it cools down.
It is normal for the car charger to feel warm during high-power charging. Power conversion generates some heat, especially when the charger is operating at full load.
The charger has built-in OTP (Over-Temperature Protection), which automatically reduces the charging power if the temperature exceeds the set limit to help prevent overheating and keep charging safe.
To help manage heat, avoid using the charger at full load for long periods in direct sunlight and keep the charging area well ventilated.
Charging may stop unexpectedly for a few common reasons. Try the following:
- The device or charger may be too hot. If they get too hot, over-temperature protection may stop charging to prevent overheating. Let the charger cool down, then reconnect it and try again.
- The connection may be loose. Check that the car charger is firmly plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. A loose connection may cause charging to stop, especially when driving on bumpy roads.
- The charging connection may be interrupted. Unplug the car charger from the cigarette lighter socket and disconnect the charging cable from your device. Then reconnect both securely and try again.
