AirPods 5: What We Know

Apple hasn't confirmed AirPods 5 — no name, no release date, no official specs. Based on Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and Apple's typical refresh cycle, the working picture looks like this: an H3 chip upgrade, the same open-ear fit as AirPods 4, improved audio quality and lower latency, and pricing close to the current $129/$179 range.

No cameras, no health sensors — those belong to a separate higher-tier model that's been pushed to late 2027 due to Apple Intelligence delays.

On timing: a 2026 launch is possible but unlikely. Most analysis points to 2027, and as of mid-2026, nothing from the supply chain has narrowed the window further.

Once Apple confirms the final design, ESR AirPods 5 cases will follow — built to the same fit and protection standard as our AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3 lineup. Stay tuned.
