I recommend!!

Really enjoy this product! I’ve been needing a keyboard case for my iPad for a while but I was avoiding the Magic Keyboard due to the insane price point. This one is a great alternative! Very sturdy quality and good keys on the keyboard—the only downside for me is the weight and the fact that I wish the iPad covering could have some type of elevation/prop-able function for when I disconnect it from the keyboard to just write on. Great keyboard though and I love the protection it gives even when attached (unlike exposed sides of the Magic Keyboard).

It's good.

Pros:
- The detachable back case is handy. It makes me feel safe when I don't need to use the keyboard.

- Price is reasonable.

- Customer service is excellent.

Cons:
- It's a shame that the back case is not compatible with other ESR iPad magnetic cases. I don't always need to carry the keyboard around.

- I hope ESR can have some magnetic iPad stands as well. So, when I removed it from the keyboard, I could still attach it to the back case with a solid stand.

- Too heavy.

A Useful and Reliable Keyboard Solution

When I purchased my iPad Air, I decided not to get the Apple keyboard option. The price was high and it lacked any protection for the ipad when disconnected from the keyboard. The ESR rebound case and keyboard came to my attention. Being that it was bluetooth instead of direct connect, I was a bit wary. But the price was excellent, AND it offered the ability to use the ipad in not just landscape but also portrait (and even remote) mode. This case is outstanding. Being that it has a back and edge protective cover that includes a full size magnet, the entire unit is thicker and heavier than the Appple keyboard. But I really like the protection the ESR affords. The magnet in the case/sleeve is strong enough to stick to metal whiteboards, refrigerators, etc. so I can use the ipad "on the wall" for an interactive display, which is a plus. The ability to use the ipad in vertical (portrait) mode is a winner, as when I'm editing a page, I can have the entire page on the screen at once. The lighted keypad is coo, the keys themselves are great. The trackpad is responsive. The case opens and puts the screen at the perfect angle (slightly adjustable) for viewing without glare. This has elevated my use of the ipad and made it into a solid workhorse (screen typing was bothering my wrist). Very please with my purchase and this product.

Excellent product

This I pad case is more versatile than other cases that I have bought. The fact that you can place the iPad on horizontal or vertical position is wonderful. Quality craftsmanship was put into this product.
