A Solid Sport Band with a Few Design Trade-offs

The ESR Apple Watch band delivers rugged comfort with a soft rubber build and a silver folding clasp, but its near-black color mismatch and clasp-centered asymmetry create practical and aesthetic friction for larger wrists; the user’s experience confirms the band fits on the seventh of ten holes with only three notches left, can pinch if donned carelessly, and sits off-center so the clasp hits the wrist during movement—evidence that the band’s design prioritizes sweat and activity performance over perfect visual integration with the Watch and ergonomic symmetry. ESR’s customer-oriented reputation is acknowledged, yet the functional compromises (color variance, clasp pinching risk, limited size headroom, off-center load distribution) raise stakes for users seeking both sport utility and everyday wear polish; we accept that this is a decent, sweat-ready band that works, but it is not a seamless match for large wrists or for those who need exact black-on-black aesthetic alignment and centered clasp ergonomics.Color and Material Reality• The band is “blackish,” not the same black as the Apple Watch; visual mismatch is noticeable.• Rubber material feels soft and comfortable in use; design is classic and simplistic with a silver folding clasp.Fit Envelope for Larger Wrists• Sizing: currently on the 9th of 10 adjustment positions; only one hole remains.• If the wrist were any larger, the band would likely not fit; smaller wrists would be fine.• Additional clips/extensions exist, but the current setup is near the upper fit limit.Clasp Mechanics and Ergonomics• Folding clasp can pinch if put on incorrectly; requires careful donning.• The clasp sits off-center on the underside of the wrist, causing occasional impact during downward motions.• Off-center load distribution undermines comfort and symmetry, even when the watch face is centered.Optimized for sweat, running, and rugged use; still passable for casual wear due to the silver clasp and overall clean look.

Good Combination -- Touch and Comfortable

Like the other ESR products I own, this one is top notch. It is well made, well thought out and well executed. The band material is solid and strong — no worries that it will wear out or break endangering my Ultra3. There is no sacrifice in comfort; the skin side has channels to defeat heat and moisture build up. The stainless steel clasp is solid; it clicks tight and holds well — no risk of it opening inadvertently. On often overlooked but important feature — the connection to the watch is also solid — some bands are flimsy, this one is not. Finally, like all ESR products, the band comes with a good set of instructions on how to get the best fit; use the provided tape to measure the wrist, find a number to line up with the numbers on the inside of the band, and use that hole. This is a good value for a band of this quality. Form, fit, function and value — it has it all and I am glad I got it.

Stylish looking Band

My husband is quite impressed and happy with this Apple Watch band.It’s easy to put on. Comfortable and fits nicely and looks sharp. He likes the color and he feels like your getting a really nice band at a fraction of the cost if purchased at an Apple Store.This is a nice quality band.

A pretty good match for the natural titanium Apple Watch Ultra.

The ESR Band compatible with the larger size Apple watches is a practical, good looking and comfortable fold over deployment clasp band that performs better than the majority of its competitors. The soft, HNBR rubber has textured grooves and sweat channels that promote airflow and wick away moisture. The deployment clasp allows you to set the band to your wrist size and not have to adjust it again with an easy on/easy off mechanism. The black colored band goes with all attire while the silver/titanium colored clasp is a pretty good match for the natural titanium Apple Watch Ultra that I installed it on. I find that the band dries quickly and if I get it dirty, it’s pretty simple to clean it up under some running water. The rubber is soft and pliable and feels like it will last a long time while the stainless steel clasp feels durable and fastens the watch securely to your wrist. It’s one of the most comfortable bands, and I have quite a few, I’ve ever worn. It works great for all activities and looks the part whether at work or dining out and it’s a good value for the money.
